06/05/2020 | Government launches up to 80% non-refundable support for micro-enterprises
Following the Prime Minister's announcement of May 2, 2020 a package of Incentives for micro-enterprises (< 10 workers) was announced by the Government to cover expenses related to personal protective equipment necessary for the reopening of the economy.
Application Opening Date
- May 11, 2020 (awaiting the Notice with procedures)
Beneficiaries:
- Microenterprises (Less than 10 workers)
- All sectors of activity, including: Commerce and Services, Accommodation and Restaurants, Industry and Transport.
- Be certified with SME status by IAPMEI;
- Have your situation regularized with the Tax and Social Security Authority;
- Submission of a budget for each eligible support item.
Financial support:
- Support is given in the form of a non-refundable incentive;
- Support Limits – Minimum Eligible Expense of 500 euros and Maximum Eligible of 5 thousand euros.
- The incentive rate to be awarded is 80% of eligible expenses, as of March 18 (date of declaration of the first State of Emergency).
- Refund payments are made as follows: 50% of the incentive after signing the acceptance term + 50% remaining of the incentive calculated based on the statement of expense for the realization of an eligible investment signed by the company and confirmed by a Certified Accountant
Type of Eligible Expenses:
- Personal protective equipment for employees and customers
- Sanitation equipment and disinfectant and consumable dispensers
- Reorganization of workplaces and space layout
- Hiring disinfestation services
- Physical isolation of production or sales spaces
- Vertical and horizontal signage
- Costs associated with delivery and telecommuting services
- Other control and social distancing devices.
The disclosure of incentives for the SME segment is awaited.
